The Yoga Shed – Moving Forward

Hello and a huge thank you to all of you that have been in touch recently . I understand that many of you are keen to restart your yoga practice and with the developing news, it is once again time for an update.

The Yoga Shed is Evolving:

I imagine many of you have had cause to reflect recently and have also had to change your way of being and doing.  The Yoga Shed, has been no exception to this.

That is why it is time for us to move forward and create new and positive ways of being.  Starting with the wonderful news that my husband John is joining me as a business partner.

This change reflects some of the decisions I have made recently to take a small step back and make room for new and exciting projects.

So whats new?………

The Yoga Shed Online will continue and now has over 100 classes available. These range from very gentle therapeutic classes to more dynamic flows and everything in between. There are classes that run from 5 minutes to over an hour and I believe this offers a wide variety of practices that you can keep coming back to time and time again, with something to suit everyone at a very affordable price. I have developed all of the practices with you in mind and thought of you all when developing them. Therefore they should feel both familiar and fresh.  They can be accessed on demand and allow you to repeat favourites to get the most out of your yoga.  John has come on board to help develop this further and I think there is great potential to add more diversity in the future.

Additionally, monthly Zoom classes are already underway and it has been wonderful to see so many of you face to face again. This supports your home practice, offers connection and motivation to keep you going. I would love to see this continue with many more of you joining us, these are designed to suit all abilities.

Specialist courses and workshops at The Yoga Shed,  I believe that after 20 years of teaching yoga and over 4 years in counselling and psychotherapy, it is time for me to utilise my skills and develop new approaches.

New specialist courses and workshops will facilitate a new connection, where we can come together again, deepen our practice and self development and I can tailor practices to your needs. This is a unique opportunity to access a new development in yoga and psychotherapy that I have been working on for some time.

This will be the new and exciting approach. You may have already guessed by now that this does, however, mean that I will no longer be running regular weekly classes at The Yoga Shed. I do appreciate that some of you may be disappointed initially, but of course with the combination of over 100 online classes and new courses to look forward to, you will not only have continued access to my teachings, but I hope a more exciting programme to enjoy. I do, however, ask for your patience as we will have to wait until social distancing measures are lifted and it may take a little while to get some of this off the ground.

This has not been an easy decision to make, but it is time for a new focus. Evolution is always at the heart of offering the very best and yoga is a shining example of this. Look just how far we have all come in the last year, as we have tried new ways of being.  I really hope you will continue to be part of this journey with me going forward.

With Love and Oms

Saturday 24th April

On Zoom – 10.30am to 12pm (ish!)

Welcome to our first ever online monthly motivation session.

An opportunity to practice together, reconnect and chat a little.

These sessions are designed to be organic and evolving, we will have an hours class together, I will suggest some practices that you can access for the time in between our meetings (membership is required to access these) and there will be some ideas around getting a regular practice underway – or maintained – as we share ideas and say hello.

Your attendance after the first hour will be optional, after which we will tailor the time to the groups needs. During the practice I will observe as well as lead and each month there will be an invitation for one of you to join me at The Yoga Shed to participate from there, first come first served if you would like to volunteer.

So please come along and say hello, enjoy a lovely gentle practice to soften and refresh the body and mind and be part of our wonderful community. It would be great to see you.
