Perimenopause & Menopause –
This workshop aims to begin to explore how yoga can assist us at all levels through the journey of perimenopause, menopause and beyond and how to celebrate with honour and full respect these intense encounters with change as central to a woman’s spiritual growth, to her Self acceptance and spiritual maturity.
The workshop introduces techniques and awareness for breathing, moving and being to some of the most common challenges and symptoms that women encounter during perimenopause and menopause.
Also there will be time for reflecting, sharing and a beautiful healing yoga nidra practice about Being With Not Knowing.
Perimenopause is the time leading up to the edge of menopause and can last for many years. This time is characterised by changes in the menstrual cycle and many other aspects of women’s experience.
This workshop is suitable for all women, but specifically significant for women from 40 plus.
The practice of Womb Yoga enables us to access the inner guidance of our source wisdom so that we may more readily reside in wellbeing and peace with our experiences as women.
This workshop will be hosted at The Yoga Shed in Akeley
